Get the Fera app

Keep Fera on your home screen: one tap and you're straight back into the conversation, full screen, and you'll know the moment someone writes back. No app store download. It's free and takes about 10 seconds.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari. It has to be Safari: Chrome and other browsers on iPhone can't send notifications from the app. If you came from Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Open in browser (or copy the link into Safari).
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open Fera from your home screen and sign in. Your iPhone keeps the app separate from Safari, so you sign in once more here.
  5. Tap Turn on when we offer notifications, then Allow. (Or go to Profile → Notifications on this device.)

Needs iOS 16.4 or later for notifications.

Android

  1. Open this page in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install above, or tap the ⋮ menu (top right) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Open Fera from your home screen and tap Turn on for notifications.

Computer

  1. In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or use the menu → Install Fera.
  2. On a Mac with Safari: File → Add to Dock.

Is it discreet?

Notifications show Fera and the character's name, like "Nathaniel Harcourt · Replied to you". They never show what was said.You can turn them off any time in Profile, or in your phone's settings. To remove the app, press and hold the icon and choose Remove.
